Basic Life Support
This course features key changes in basic life support reflecting new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular care. Other topics include critical concepts in high-quality CPR, The American Heart Association Chain of Survival, 1 and 2-rescuer CPR and AED for adults, children and infants, differences among adult, child and infant rescue techniques, bag-mask techniques, rescue breathing, and relief of choking for adults, children and infants.

This course is specifically for the Construction Industry. It provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the construction industry. It also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
Additionally, workers can attend 10-hour or 30-hour classes delivered by OSHA-authorized trainers. The 10-hour class is intended to provide workers with awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards, while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. Through this training, workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation's productivity.
